Hitting Jack-It™ System’s Estrada Beisbol Names Charlie Dunbar Chief Operations Officer (COO)

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif., Oct. 20, 2011—Estrada Beisbol, Inc., the company that invented the Hitting Jack-It™ System – the world’s leading variable-weighted hitting system for baseball and fastpitch that dramatically improves player performance – has named baseball industry veteran Charlie Dunbar to the post of Chief Operations Officer (COO).

A 30-year sporting goods industry executive, Dunbar has sales and marketing experience working with many premier brands like Louisville Slugger®, the Official Bat of Major League Baseball (MLB), and Majestic Athletic, maker of sports apparel and the current uniform provider for MLB.

As Estrada Beisbol’s COO, Dunbar reports to company CEO Marco Estrada Jr. and works closely with other principal management staff members. Dunbar is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Estrada Beisbol, Inc.

“Charlie is ideal for this job because he has specialized in team sales at all levels of sports, from Little League to the pros,” said Estrada. “His duties directly affect our profitability, so he participates in short- and long-term strategic planning for the company.”

Dunbar also currently serves as a vice president at Mike Scioscia’s Amateur Baseball Development Group (ABDG), Thousand Oaks, Calif., a non-profit foundation that uses all proceeds to support amateur baseball in Southern California.
